We accepts donations of gently used cat supplies at any of our pet valu locations.

Your donations will given to our volunteer foster parents to use with the cats in our care. We also partner with other volunteer cat groups to share surplus items.
Items we accept include:

Cat litter

Cat food and treats (up to 6 months past the expiry date) including lickable cat treat tubes

Toys
-
Scratch pads, posts, trees and cat condos (good condition)

Hard plastic cat carriers

Cat beds
-
Other items like bowls, mats, brushes etc.
Q: How do I know if an item is “lightly used”?
We understand that this is a judgement call. If a cat bed has holes in it, and if a scratching post is tattered beyond use, we probably can’t make use of it. If you have an item you are unsure about, please email a photo to michelleskittenrescue@gmail.com
Q: Do you accept open bags of cat food?
Yes. Bags kept seeled for freshness are ideal
Q: Do you accept used litter boxes?
Generally not. Usually used litter boxes have scratches on the inside of the box, causing sanitation to become difficult between foster cats. That said, if you have a litter box that is in nearly new condition, we can accept these. Boxes that are lidded are especially useful.
Q: Do you accept medications?
We unfortunately do not accept medications, used or unopened. We would recommend trying other rescue organizations with such needs.

Q: I would like to purchase something for Michelle's Kitten Rescue. What supplies do you need?
